Introduction OF SHATAVARI (ASPARAGUS RACEMOSUS)
There are multiple uses of SHATAVARI plant.Asparagus Racemosus is a good source of calcium, minerals, zinc,B- complex vitamins,estrogens. Shatavari, or Asparagus racemosus, has been used for centuries in Ayurveda to support the reproductivesystem, particularly for females, and as a support for the digestive system.

DESCRIPTION
Scandant, much branched spinous undershrub with tuberous, short root stock bearing numerous fusiform tuberous roots, 30-100 cm long and 1-2 cm thick. Leaves reduced to minute chaffy scales and spines.
Sarsapogenin, Saponins, Glycosides of quercetin, Rutin, Diosgenin, Sitosterol, Polycyclic alkaloid, Asparagamine, Furostanolic saponins. Five steroidal saponins, shatavarins VI-X, together with five known saponins, shatavarin I (or asparoside B), shatavarin IV (or asparinin B), shatavarin V, immunoside and schidigerasaponin D5 (or asparanin A)
