Introduction to Kidney Stone Treatment Ayurveda
Kidney stones (renal lithiasis, nephrolithiasis) are hard deposits made of minerals and salts that form inside your kidneys.
In Ayurveda we call it mutra asmari.
AYURVEDA case of Kidney Stone Treatment Ayurveda
patient history
Patient has history of left kideny stone i.e renal calculi since 05/10/2017.
Ultrasound report was done on 05/10/2017 with following findings.
“There is evidence of a 1.2 cms calculus in the right mid ureter causing hydronephrosis and hydroureter.
Two tiny calculus of size 4 mm and 6 mm are seen in lower calyx of right kidney.”
He was suggested for operation but he comes in my clinic on 04/11/2014 for Ayurveda treatment for his kidney stone.
patient has following clinical features
Rupa (symptoms & Signs) Clinical features
Severe pain in the Right side abdomen and back, below the ribs
Pain radiates from Right side abdomen to the lower abdomen and groin
Pain comes in waves and fluctuates in intensity
Pain on urination
Burning urine
Cloudy urine
Nausea and vomiting
Persistent need to urinate
Urinating more often than usual
Fever and chills intermediate
Urinating small amounts
patient was given Ayurveda medicine for first 15 day
Patient come on 19/11/2017.
There was subside in his clinical features by 40%.
Again Ayurveda medicine given for next 15 days.
but patient comes on 06/12/2017 with kidney stone in his hand below is the image of kidney stone.
